Serie A Preview: Inter's Third-Place Position Under Threat from Lazio
Inter Milan vs Lazio
After the defeat at the hands of Palermo, Inter have slipped to the third position in the Serie A table and they could be overtaken this weekend as well by Lazio.
They face their competitor for the third position in poor form by Inter's standards. The lack of fight and steel within the team has led to suggestions that Leonardo could be departing at the end of the season.
Even though Leonardo has denied such rumours, it is undoubtedly going to affect the team, which has already suffered a lot in the last few weeks.

This, along with the impressive form that Lazio have been showing of late, means that Leonardo will be having a difficult task on his hands this weekend.
Even though Lazio will be mostly having their sights on Inter's third position, they will also not be looking to lose sight of the threat from Udinese, who are just a point off Lazio. The incredibly tight standings in the table could result in this being a very tight affair, with both teams looking to avoid being beaten.
The victory over Roma in the Coppa Italia is the only source of consolation for Leonardo at the moment.
Brescia vs AC Milan
AC Milan will be looking to continue their impressive form in the league against Brescia as well, which will see them edge closer towards winning the title after a gap of seven years. It will also bring an end to Inter's domination in the league.
The final few steps for Milan look extremely comfortable after Inter have dropped out of the title race following poor results in the last few matches. Also, Napoli do not seem to be having the edge in the final stages, which leaves Milan the outright favourites to win the title this season.
Even though they will be without the likes of Alexandre Pato and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, they are expected to get the job done against Brescia, who have been struggling with relegation all season long.
With just one victory in their credit recently, they are fighting to stay afloat with Cesena in the 17th position.
Anything less than a victory would not be helpful for their cause, but the probability of it is slightly higher due to their home form, which has been decent.
Massimo Allegri has called for concentration from his side, despite the relegation threatened opposition this weekend.
