Take on The Leader 2: Joe Burgett, My Rebutal to the Rebutal
For a couple of days now I have received let's say some really bad and some constructive comments about me. The Take on The Leader article I started seemed to really spark attention, which I really wanted.
Now there is a counter to Take on the Leader out there, so cool. I am not the best writer as many of you have known for a while now. But I do bring something that many of you do not, what is that, people coming back again and again.
You see many of you write an article and then get maybe lets say 200 to 300 reads, a good day's work. I thought of a way to get that on every article and instead of trying to beat me to the punch, you all said it was unacceptable.
Now I got to ask, was it unacceptable, or was it the fact that a new guy one uped the veterans? Now I do not say this to often, but it seems like it must come out. I got on Bleacher Report for this fact alone, to get attention from the sporting world.
I wanted the B/R dream, read and comments on every article, my first article got like 137 reads, terrible in my standards, but then I thought why not bring them something that no one has thought to bring them. News with an opinion.
That is right all of you out there who have been bashing me for doing it, well you have been seeing a good idea, because all though something that was all over the planet I managed to bring here to Bleacher Report.
The man himself gave me the idea, Zander. He has little help things on the front page for new article writers. He had one that caught my eye, it said you need to get people's attention, this is how. Put something in the heading like "A-Rod caught using HGH" instead of Derrick Burgess above average tackler.
It hit me, if the A-Rod thing was big, it should work in any section, even wrestling. So I wrote breaking news on websites on here and gave my opinions on them, like personally I feel kind of stuff.
Jeremy Botter told me tell where you get your sources, people might think your an insider and when you wrong about a supposed rumor they will come after you. I didn't want that so instead I wrote stuff with the websites name where you could find the news from.
I did this in many of the articles so you could check that I had the news, but I didn't copy and paste it, unless it was a quote in which I couldn't change it. And people seemed to really enjoy getting news on here, until I moved up.
Once I moved up people seemed to wonder why is he going up and I'm not? It was that I got a lot of reads on many of those new articles and I wrote so many that if you looked up wrestling on google, it would take you to some of my articles on the links.
I managed to get people's attention on here. And across the Internet, and all I had to do was share my opinion on today's news, and it could be why I am the most hated person it seems on Bleacher Report.
