TNA News: Hulk Hogan Lands His Own Video Game; While Flair May Land in Jail
Friday was a very slow news day for wrestling fans. Which is probably a good thing considering how last week ended. However, as I was trolling the web, I found these two stories that caught my eye.
First, Hulk Hogan has a video game on Kinnect for Xbox 360. The title of the game is "Hulk Hogan's Main Event".
According to the games creator Majesco Entertainment Company, "players will learn the ropes from the man himself as Hulk Hogan schools them on delivering the best show for the crowd by emulating famous Hulk poses and performing more than 30 punishing combos."
They also mentioned you could create your own character, join tournament modes, and utilize weapons. Hulk Hogan's Main Event is due out this fall.
Sounds like an interesting game, it would be nice if they release a video of the game play though.
Now on to the "Naitch". As some of you may know Ric Flair has been in an ongoing legal battle with highspots.com. Flair allegedly broke an agreement with the company, that required him to do signing appearances and a shoot interview DVD.
Flair also is alleged to owe them upwards of $35,000 from a loan. Apparently, Flair gave them his NWA heavyweight title as collateral, which already had lien on it from another debtor. So essentially, it was deemed useless to highspots.com. As they were looking to auction it off to end the Flair drama.
According to the latest ruling which was announced this week. Flair has until June 27th to either pay $35,000 or give up his NWA world championship belt to highspots.com along with 300 signed photos, or serve up to 90-days in jail.
Seems like the Hall of Famer better be ready to cut that check and ice his wrist. Luckily, he has about a month to sign 300 photos which equals roughly 10 photos a day.
