TNA Lockdown 2011: Bleacher Report Prediction League Results
In a night where blood was spilled and bodies were broken, TNA surprised the fan base with their Lockdown PPV.
Not only did Immortal lose, but Hulk Hogan was unable to recruit anyone from the TNA World Heavyweight Championship match.
Here is a quick rundown of events:
Sting pinned Mr. Anderson after Mr. Anderson took out RVD with an object that Hogan gave to RVD, which RVD refused. Mr. Anderson then yelled at Hogan that that was not for Hogan, but for Anderson.
Fortune beat Immortal with a little help from the returning AJ Styles.
Jeff Jarrett proved he was better than Kurt Angle with the help of Karen Jarrett, Kurt's ex-wife... Wow, that feud is way too personal for a tv show.
Mickie James quickly won over Madison Rayne because she is injured and would not look good bald. She does have her country music career to look out for.
Matt Morgan beat a crying Hernandez that the company is fixed against him for being Mexican, of course we need another LAX storyline...
Samoa Joe brutalized The Pope.
Max Buck is the new No. 1 Contender for Kazarian's Title, wtf...really?
And Ink Inc. are now the No. 1 Contenders for Beer Money's Titles.
Just a reminder...
Anyone can join the league at any time!
If you miss this PPV or someone couldn't make it, that's OK, you can join in on the next one.
Each PPV will be worth up to 30 points. No match will be worth more than five points. There will not be bonus questions worth points this year.
I would like it if you can to give a reason for why you are picking who you are picking to win, this way we can create more debate and conversation for the league.
And if there is debate, please be respectful to your fellow league competitors or you will be removed from the league.
The Underdog Award, the person(s) who predicted the least predictable match, is returning againe (spelled the way I wanted it to) and will be worth an extra three points.
The Underdog Award went to everyone who voted for Ink Inc. So to all of you, three points were awarded.
