WWE: After Turning Heel on Monday Night Raw, What's Next for R-Truth?
In case you missed it, R-Truth opened RAW with a celebration-type promo. This was until his former tag-team partner, John Morrison, came to the ring.
After awful back-and-forth on the mic, they set up a match; the winner would be the third man into the WWE Championship match at Extreme Rules. Morrison won the match and was attacked afterwards by Truth. Truth ended the segment by blowing smoke from a cigarette all over Morrison.
Now that we're all caught up, what does this mean for R-Truth's future?

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Well, I considered Truth to be the blandest character in the WWE. Yes, even worse than John Cena. He would come out rapping every week to the same song, and would be less than stellar in-ring.
Before WrestleMania, many thought R-Truth would be one of many on the future endeavored list. Now? Well, he has some hope.
Truth played the heel role very well. The addition of the water bottle and the cigarette in the attack got him fully over as a heel. And keep in mind, many already disliked the guy.
This established a feud between him and John Morrison, unless Truth is moved to Smackdown in next week's WWE Draft. So let's explore these possibilities:
Truth and Morrison obviously already have history together. They have tagged on numerous occasions and it could get both over the top as a face and heel, respectively.
The problem here, to be quite honest, is that both guys are absolutely terrible on the mic. Truth's mic skills may improve by the heel turn, but only time will tell us the answer to that question.
The bottom line: R-Truth has never really been put in a meaningful, personal feud. A heated rivalry with John Morrison could get him over as a heel, and prove he can work well in his new role.
How about the other route—could R-Truth get sent to WWE Friday Night Smackdown? I will take a look at current Smackdown Superstars, because this isn't the time to make predictions.
Christian: This is very unlikely. It seems like Christian will be in the World Title picture for a while, and I don't see Truth taking Del Rio's spot as Smackdown's top heel. So unless Christian gets a long, prestigious reign, I don't see it happening.
Rey Mysterio: It looks as if Mysterio's feud with Rhodes will carry over for a while, making this unlikely as well.
Big Show: Big Show is having issues with The Corre, but that's been over before it began. This is possible, but it would make for a pretty boring feud, if you ask me.
Kofi Kingston: Kofi isn't doing much, and could benefit from a heel turn himself. I don't see this happening, although it would showcase the WWE's two African American stars.
You get the point—none of those feuds work as well as Morrison/Truth. So I believe that Truth should stay put, and continue the program with "The Shaman of Sexy."
Whatever happens to Ron Killings, he will benefit greatly from this heel turn. It quite possibly has saved his WWE career and revived his onscreen presence.
So, enough of my thoughts—what are your thoughts on R-Truth's heel turn?
