First Round:    20th overall:   Cameron Jordan, defensive end, California.

Comment:  rated by many in the top four among defensive ends. Raheem Morris really likes this guy. He's the son of former Minnesota Viking Steve Jordan. At 6-4, 282, he has all the qualities the Bucs are looking for. They might have to trade up to get him.

Second Round: 51st overall:  Bruce Carter, linebacker, North Carolina.

Comment: At 6-3, 235, Carter can also be a hybrid to rush from the DE position. One of the really fine athletes on the North Carolina defense.

Third Round:  84th overall: Greg Romeus, defensive end, Pittsburgh.

Comment: Depends on his rehab progress from an ACL injury. This kid is 6'7", 280 lbs., and very athletic. He would have been a top five pick if he had come out after his junior year at Pittsburgh. Could be a steal here.

Fourth Round: 116th overall: Terrell McClain, defensive tackle, University of South Florida.

Comment: The Dancing Bear from USF has moved up after a good combine. Really solid player. The Bucs need quality depth at DT after watching Price turn up on IR and McCoy going down. He's 6'3", 310 lbs.

Fifth Round:  151st overall:  Bilal Powell, running back, Louisville.

Comment: This guy has incredible moves, can break tackles, made some runs at Louisville last year that had "big time back" written all over him. He's 6'0", 215 lbs. and  has speed in the open field. He's from Lakeland and is good character guy.

Six Round: 187th overall:  Andrew Phillips, OG, Stanford.

Comment: He's 6'5", 302 lbs. and is high character guy and from Stanford. No problem learning the playbook.

Seventh Round: 222nd overall:  J.T. Thomas, OLB, West Virginia.

Comment: Another good Big East guy. He's 6'2", 225 lbs. and looked good in game situations.

Seventh Round: 238th overall:  Dontavia Bogan, WR, University of South Florida.

Comment: Great hands. At 6'1", 188 lbs., he can go get the football.

There you have it. This is just the first of a number of candidates that we'll have for your consumption and comment. Enjoy!
