NFL Fantasy Football: Early Look at 2011 Top 10 Quarterbacks

Orrie SielaffMay 19, 2011

Ask two NFL experts to list the top 10 quarterbacks in the league, and they will likely give you two very different lists.  It seems that no list made in this fashion will be identical to another.  This list could change depending on what happens in free agency, but here is an early look at the top 10 fantasy quarterbacks in 2011:

1.  Aaron Rodgers, GB: The Pack acquired more weapons on draft day.  With two young bookends on the O-line, Rodgers will put up ridiculous numbers.

2.  Michael Vick, PHI: The only thing holding Vick back from the No. 1 spot is the injury risk, but the rewards will be plentiful.

3.  Philip Rivers, SD: Rivers put up gaudy stats considering who he was throwing to last year.  He's in his prime as a player and San Diego will throw a lot.

4.  Peyton Manning, IND: At 35, Manning may be slowing down, though I wouldn't let him know that.

5.  Drew Brees, NO: Brees is a model of consistency, and Sean Payton lets him throw plenty.

6.  Tom Brady, NE: The Pats young receivers will be better this year, giving Brady several weapons in the passing game.

7.  Matt Ryan, ATL: The Falcons offense could have the most explosive offense in the league with Julio Jones' arrival, but their great running game limits Ryan's value.

8.  Matt Schaub, HOU: The Houston air attack will be solid again this season and Schaub has been consistent as a starter.

9.  Ben Roethlisberger, PIT: The Steelers have a great crop of young receivers.  Big Ben will have an easier time with less media attention.

10. Josh Freeman, TB: Freeman took leaps and bounds last year and will have a true breakout season this year for the Bucs.

Honorable mentions:

Joe Flacco, BAL
