TNA Lockdown 2011: Bleacher Report Prediction League

TNA Lockdown...

Every match will be competed inside of a cage, some will even be completely encased.

A brutal PPV that will be sure to give everyone watching the non-PG wrestling they have been looking for.

With the last TNA PPV ending in a very controversial manner, TNA needs to step up and show that they are in the big leagues of Wrestling...or they might as well just stop competing.

Before we get started, let me just explain some rules and guidelines for the League and we will jump right on into Predicting the future of TNA.

ANYONE CAN JOIN THE LEAGUE AT ANY TIME! If you miss this PPV or someone couldn't make it, that's ok, you can join in on the next one.

Each PPV will be worth up to 30 points. No match will be worth more than five points. There will not be bonus questions worth points this year.

I would like you if you can to give a reason for why you are picking who you are picking to win, this way we can create more debate and conversation for the league. And if there is debate, please be respectful to your fellow league competitors or you will be removed from the League.

The Underdog Award, the person/persons who predicts the least predictable match, will be worth an extra three points.

The results of each Prediction League will be posted by Wednesday of each following week, so get on me to get them out this year, haha.

Match 1 - (Lockdown Cage Match) TNA World Heavyweight Champion Sting vs Mr. Anderson vs RVD - Winner 2 points, Loser 2 points, Both 5 points.

Match 2 - (Lethal Lockdown Cage Match) Immortal (Flair, Abyss, Bully Ray, and Matt Hardy) vs Fortune (Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, and Beer Money) - 3 points

Match 3 - (Lockdown Cage Match) Jeff Jarrett vs Kurt Angle - 4 points

Match 4 - (Lockdown Cage Match/If Mickie loses her head get's shaved, if she wins she becomes Knockout Champion) TNA Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne vs Mickie James - 3 points

Match 5 - (Lockdown Cage Match) Hernandez vs Matt Morgan - 3 points

Match 6 - (Lockdown Cage Match) Samoa Joe vs The Pope - 3 points

Match 7 - Lockdown Cage Match/X-Division Xscape Match) Jeremy Buck vs Max Buck vs Chris Sabin vs Robbie E. vs Brian Kendrick vs Suicide vs Jay Lethal vs Amazing Red - 5 points

Match 8 - (Lockdown Cage Match) Ink Inc (Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal) vs Crimson and Scott Steiner vs Orlando Jordan and Eric Young vs Brutus Magnus and Douglas Williams - 4 points

A reminder of what each match type is:

A Lockdown Cage Match is simply a regular cage match where you can either escape or win by pinfall or submission.

A Lethal Lockdown Cage Match starts with two competitors from each team.  As time goes on both teams competitors are let into the cage by intervals, once all competitors are in the cage the ceiling of the cage is dropped and pinfalls and submissions are now legal.

A X-Division Xscape Match starts with all competitors in the ring.  All competitors can be pinned or submitted until two competitors remain.  At this point the two men must try and escape the cage.  Whoever escapes first wins.

To make it easy with predicting please copy and paste the template below, then fill it out and if possible leave a reasoning behind your answers...it is TNA and I know most people do not frequent it, so I'll live if you don't want to put reasons.
