Need a Cam For This: Cam Newton's Five Best TDs on YouTube(Video)
Cam Newton is one of the most talked about QB prospects in recent memory.
Much of this NFL hype came after his outstanding career at Auburn, where he led the Tigers to a national championship in 2010.
Now, with the draft just 12 days away, it's time to look at Newton's best five touchdowns on YouTube from his collegiate career.
Like him or not, these are some pretty amazing plays turned in by this very talented quarterback. Enjoy.
5. 5-yard TD run vs. Arkansas(2010)
1 of 5This play shows off the strength of one Cameron Newton.
He makes quick work of a Razorback linebacker while coasting into the end zone.
Sometimes people forget that he still weighs 250 lbs, and on plays like this, his size becomes more apparent.
4. 71-yard TD run vs. Arkansas State(2010)
2 of 5On this TD, everyone else appears to be going in slow motion as Newton takes off the easy touchdown.
If he can make plays like this in the NFL, he will be the talk of the league for many years into the future.
3. 51-yard Hail Mary TD pass vs. South Carolina(2010)
3 of 5In a desperation heave, Newton shows off some of his arm strength with this improbable touchdown pass.
Auburn receiver Darin Adams was on the other end of the pass and got a lucky tip from a Gamecock defender before he corralled the Newton throw.
Say what you want about this touchdown, but it was a clutch play for Newton and the Tigers, who were playing in the SEC Championship game at the time, and needed a win to secure their national title hopes for the season.
2. 22-yard TD reception vs. Mississippi(2010)
4 of 5In the craziest play on this list, Cam Newton catches a TD pass from WR Kodi Burns in the back right corner of the end zone vs. Mississippi last season.
That's right, Cam can receive as well.
The announcer is right when he says is there anything else he can do?
1. 49-yard TD run vs. LSU(2010)
5 of 5On this play, Newton shows why is so highly regarded as a rushing QB.
He takes the snap, weaves his around defenders, breaks about five tackles and explodes into the end zone 49 yards later.
Wow is about all I can say after watching that.
