Boxing's Bizarre Videos
"Boxing: Two men engaged in a manly sport that combines stamina, power, speed and grit. Locked in a battle round after round to claim the ultimate prizes: a belt and a purse."
Just like in any other sport, boxing has its funny moments. Boxers, despite being labeled as “not too intelligent” by a lot of people due to the “brutal” nature of the sport, are generally very articulate and well spoken.
Sure, they can argue and offend others for personal agenda or a marketing, but when the time comes for a serious conversation, they are capable of holding their own. Having said all that, the topic of this piece is nothing more than my recent YouTube findings of things I found to be very funny. Please watch and enjoy the few videos I have posted here, as I am sure you will find a laugh somewhere along the way!
Defintion of Nonsense Rambling: James Toney
1 of 5Oh James Toney, how I love to watch him talk! Personally, I get as much laughs from listening to James Toney as I do from hearing the stand up of George Carlin. I am not too sure whether his speech patterns and thought processes come out the way they do on purpose, or if it is simply his nature. Either way, this guy is one funny looking, sounding and acting boxer.
Should he try stand up comedy? All he’ll need is someone to stand behind the stage and whisper into his ear that the Klitschko brothers would beat him, and that UFC is too much for him; that would wind him up nicely.
Did Someone Order a Pizza with a David Haye Topping?
2 of 5No way! Have you ever heard, or expected to hear Wlad talk like this? The nice guy, the humble Wladimir Klitschko?
I most definitely still consider him humble and respectful, but it seems that David Haye has gotten deep under his skin. Either that, or Wladimir is learning how to self-promote. I found it interesting to see Wlad spiraling out of his default self, and showing the fire and desire to not only beat, but intentionally hurt David Haye in front of millions of people. Face like a pizza with Salami? That’s pretty corny Wlad, step it up!
Floyd Mayweather's Relaxing ESPN Office Workout
3 of 5I found this advertisement to be nothing short of hilarious. TV rivals Brian Kenny and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are together for this short clip, and their duet is spectacular! I like how contented and relaxed Floyd acts, as an uncomfortable Brian stands in the doorway trying to speak.
Oh the '90s, I Miss You So...
4 of 5This is just funny! Oscar De La Hoya looks too puny and small in this video. His high-sitting shorts and the orange sleeveless shirt make him look a bit like a malnourished geek. His exceedingly excited attitude and demeanor makes it that even more comic, as he explains all the drills and punches that boxing involves. “Let’s box your way to a better body!” Just look at Oscar’s smile as he is demonstrating the punches; he looks hysterical!
The Wladimir Klitschko Hymne
5 of 5
Amadeus Barthoni (Robert Bartha) is a pretty good singer. What makes him so good? His Emporio Wladimir Klitschko Hymn of course! I never knew about this, so you can imagine the look on my face when I accidentally found this CD for sale online.
Seeing Wlad’s face on a cover of a music CD was confusing and threatening at the same time. Right away I was dreading hearing Wlad do the actual singing. Thank god this wasn’t the case! So, you can either be a good fan and buy a CD for under $5, or check out the YouTube video posted, keeping your eye on the background!
