WWE News: WWE Website Paying Homage to WCW
For all of the fans out there that feel the WWE has not done enough to commemorate the fallen WCW, take a look at this.
As you can see, the WWE has added a WCW section to WWE.com. This is yet another thing the WWE has done to praise their former rival.
There are even sections devoted to the US and WCW title histories. Believe it or not, David Arquette is listed as a former WCW champ, which in the past has been overlooked due to the negativity surrounding his reign.

Granted, WCW does not currently have a Hall of Fame section, but this latest attempt should not go unnoticed. In the past, the WWE has released several DVD's and pay-per-view specials, celebrating the WCW.
Yet most fans do not feel this is enough.
As we all know, WCW was the biggest competition that WWE ever had and they were also the last. The company was notorious for several bad decisions throughout the mid to late 90's. Yet, they were also infamous for some amazing story lines, most notably the New World Order.
Unfortunately, what was one of their biggest achievements also lead to their ultimate demise. As wrestlers were constantly feeling threatened about losing their "spot". This caused a lot of problems between the younger guys and veterans. Which led to several talented younger guys jumping ship and heading to WWE.
The WWE eventually overtook WCW in ratings and bought out the company. The rest is history.
Fans of the WCW days should head over and check it out. It seems relatively new, as they have only posted a few stories there. However, this should appease some of the haters as WCW's history has not completely been erased.
