There's a Dale Earnhardt Jr. video making it's way around the sports world today, after the NASCAR star decided to have a little fun with some of the employees at his company during a commercial shoot back in March.
Earnhardt decides to put a fake snake in a cooler, and let people open it, and naturally, Suave was all for it, assuming they could shoot the hilarity that ensued.
Dale Jr.'s co-workers didn't disappoint, delivering the right amount of fright in their reactions to give Dale a great laugh.
While some of the reactions were less than stellar, there were some definite gems. Both crew chief Tony Eury Jr. and his father, Tony Eury Sr. jumped slightly at the sight of the snake, and Eury Sr. turned a lovely shade of red after realizing he'd just been pranked.
Fellow driver Eric Almirola doesn't just jump and shout, he ducks out of the way of what he seems to think is an angry, lunging snake.
But, the best reactions undoubtedly come from stock room worker April Hanlon-Neff and JR Nation Store worker Shelley Stamey. Stamey gives us a genuine, bona fide scream, and promptly slaps Junior for the prank, while Hanlon-Neff looks truly terrified at the snake in the cooler.
Good pranks have been a part of sports since Lucy first pulled the football from Charlie Brown when he prepared to kick it, and Dale Jr. gives us a simple, but classic prank here. Hopefully, everybody got a good laugh out of the whole thing.
