Kenny Britt Arrested, Puts Tennessee Titans in Tough Spot
Over the years, the Tennessee Titans have had their fair share of players in the organization who have had run-ins with the law, and now, Kenny Britt is adding to that problem.
According to police reports out of Britt's hometown, Britt eluded a police officer and then lied to police thereafter.
He also faces an obstructing government function charge.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This definitely doesn't help a new Titans' coaching staff who already has enough to worry about with the NFL Draft just weeks away.
Now they have to worry about whether or not their best offensive threat will be on the field whenever football resumes pending the current lockout.
We all know how NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell treats situations like this, and it's almost certain that Britt will receive some kind of a suspension for these charges.
Eluding police officers doesn't exactly give the NFL the image Goodell is looking for.
Very few could've expected something like this to happen to a guy who seems to have such high character on and off the field.
However, this is already Britt's third run-in with the law in his three seasons with the Titans. His other two included being questioned about a bar fight and being arrested for failure to pay outstanding parking tickets.
The Titans immediately turn into a less vertical team without Britt in the lineup, which will obviously make the challenge even greater for whoever the new quarterback ends up being in 2011.
Britt had nine touchdowns and nearly 800 yards receiving despite missing four games due to injury last season.
The Titans went 0-4 without Britt in the lineup last year and struggled to find a receiver who could replace his production.
You have to wonder if this will change the Titans' priorities in the draft that's just a little over two weeks away.
Before this unfortunate situation occurred, the Titans seemed to be pretty much set at wide receiver. Now that it's very possible Britt will be out for multiple games due to suspension, it may force the Titans to waste a draft pick on obtaining a wide receiver.
The Titans' organization said they are aware of the reports, but they obviously won't have any contact with Britt until the lockout is over.
We can all pretty much expect Titans head coach Mike Munchak to yield the iron fist on this situation, considering his persona as a no-nonsense guy.
