New York Jets Reportedly Showing Some Interest in Randy Moss
In case you didn't notice, the New York Jets are pretty damn flamboyant. They don't mind telling you that your wideouts are soft, that your offensive line is weak and that they're a Super Bowl-caliber team.
And they're so cocky and flamboyant that they seem to be attracted to players with the same demeanor.
Of course, we're talking about Randy Moss.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
According to NFL.com, the New York Jets are interested in signing free agent—and renowned badass—Randy Moss, who, if you have any sort of memory worth having, was on three teams last year, after causing major problems in the first two.
This is interesting. It's interesting because, really, the Jets are already stacked at the position, especially if they sign two of their free agent wideouts, which include Braylon Edwards, Brad Smith and Santonio Holmes.
I'm sorry, but if you sign just two of these guys, and keep Jericho Cotchery down at the slot, you're set at wide receiver. And why wouldn't you sign two, if not all, of these players who have done wonders for your team? If it ain't broke, don't fix it, bro.
It's a ridiculous move, if this does happen. Randy Moss may have been calm at some point in his career, but he's on the track to being what he once was: a distraction in the locker room. Plus, the dude is aging at age 34, and though he can still produce for any team, he won't be anything near what he was in, say, 2007.
And the Jets don't need him, either. If they sign just a couple of their young wideouts, receivers won't be an issue—they have a ton of talent in that respect. Rather, why not spend the money on a younger, more promising running back? The Jets only placed fourth in the league in rushing, and that's embarrassing, considering the talent they have at the offensive line.
Maybe the Jets want to keep that badass culture in the locker room. Lord knows it's helped them tremendously the past two years.
Maybe the Jets want to keep Moss away from New England, where he can potentially be too dangerous for them if he behaves in Foxboro.
Or maybe the Jets think he'll help Mark Sanchez develop into a smarter quarterback. Of course, that would have to be a joke if they ever said that, since Moss will help to demean his QB at all costs, but perhaps the Jets are stupid enough to do so.
Either way, bad move, New York Jets. Nothing good can come out of signing Randy Moss. Except, you know, telling Mark Sanchez the truth about him being a girl.
