R Truth Took John Morrison's Push and Ran with It

Let's be serious. On Raw, when R Truth defeated JoMo and it led to John Cena running down to the ring, we all thought the same thing. 

Cena will be the No. 1 contender in less than seven minutes.

However, the way I thought the match would go down (Cena gets beat up for about five minutes, Cena gets two minutes of offense in and locks in the STFU to win) did not happen that way. Cena actually controlled pretty much the whole match, which is not normal, and Truth got about three moves in. After Miz and Riley caused the double DQ, pretty much everybody over the age of 16 knew that a triple threat was on the horizon. 

The thing is, R Truth was not supposed to be in that spot. John Morrison was, and everybody knows it. 

I am an R Truth fan, from way back when he was K Kwik, and when he won the NWA title in TNA, I marked out. However, we have not seen any sign of R Truth since the Elimination Chamber, and all of the sudden he wants the title and then gets put in the main event of Extreme Rules?

Morrison screwed himself by scolding a legend and siding with his girlfriend rather than chasing his dream. 

R Truth has been around long enough to deserve a title shot, but let's face it, Morrison fumbled and R Truth picked it up and ran all the way to the endzone.

Morrison will bounce back, probably later rather than sooner, but he will bounce back.

On a plus note, it is good to see new faces in the main event and I for one think R Truth vs. John Cena vs. The Miz will actually be a pretty good match; a lot of different styles makes for a good time.
