AC Milan's Quest for the Title Boosted by Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Return

Fiorentina vs Milan

AC Milan's 3-0 win over Inter Milan will be counting for nothing if they drop any points against Fiorentina this weekend. Even though they might be holding a healthy five-point advantage over Inter with just a few games remaining, one has to remember the fact that Inter are not the only contenders for the title.

Napoli are also in the mix for the title and given that they are just three points behind AC Milan, they will be looking to take advantage of any slip-ups from the Milan giant.

The exit from the Champions League has definitely helped AC Milan in this regard and they have been able to recuperate their players in a much better way than they would usually do after midweek action featuring Champions League matches.

Adrian Mutu will be unavailable for Fiorentina as he is suspended, while AC Milan will be having better fortune in the striker department as they will be welcoming back Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the side after the striker's three-match suspension. However, Antonio Cassano is suspended for AC Milan. History is in favour of Milan in this fixture.

Bologna vs Napoli

Napoli will have the great opportunity to go top of the table with the knowledge that they will be kicking off before AC Milan this weekend. Only three points separate Napoli from Milan, which means that they could at least be level on points with the "Rossoneri" by the time the Serie A leaders kick-off against Fiorentina.

However, they will be missing their main linchpin in the striking department, Edinson Cavani. Napoli have previously struggled without Cavani, but that is not expected to be a major factor against Bologna, who have nothing great to play for in the remainder of the season.

Napoli come into the match in spectacular fashion having just won their last three matches, but keeping clean sheets has been a problem for Walter Mazzarri's side. This is something that Bologna could exploit, but it remains to be seen if they will have the hunger to do that.

Their recent matches, though, suggest that they still have a lot of hunger left in them after the recently defeated Juventus. Replacing Cavani will be toughest job for Walter Mazzarri this weekend, but Marek Hamsik and Lavezzi could solve the problem.
