It only takes a few seconds to be revealed.

It seemed on Saturday night that Kimbo Slice might face a semi- formidable opponent, a man who used to be legendary but then went 0-5 in the four years of fighting.  The Elite XC would try to create an aura to be built around Kimbo Slice of being legit since he fought a 44 year old legend.  Ken Shamrock was set to face the overrated heavyweight in front of millions on national television and show that he could still fight.  This brought excitement to many who knew that Kimbo Slice was no fighter and that he would walk into any professional gym, fight the featherweight, and get beaten within the first minutes of the first round.  So, it was pretty exciting knowing that even though he was fighting an old man, that old man used to be known as the most dangerous man in the world ten years ago. 

Then, the most terrible and lucky news came in, that Ken Shamrock would not be fighting due to a laceration over the left eye.  It was announced that a man named Seth Petruzelli would step in to fight Kimbo Slice.  Many sat in front of their T.V's saying, "WHO?".  But, for the hardcore MMA fans you would have heard this name before, he has had a very rocky MMA career never winning against formidable opponents and having one fight in the UFC which ended in a loss to the old Matt Hamill.  Many of us were sitting there saying, "How could Kimbo be so lucky to get out of this, how can this be?"

Then, you hear the announcers talking about how they can't believe Kimbo is still taking the fight because he would not be ready for Petruzelli.  Really? Like are you kidding me? A man who has trained for months was about to fight a kid who only had three hours to get ready.  Really? Your going to try and create an excuse for him lose...man I hate this organization....sorry off topic.

So the night was going pretty well compared to the last couple, that being because of a pride fighter and former UFC heavyweight champion finally had a legit bout for the Elite XC, Gina Corano looked hot and won which makes every guy very very happy, and the welterweight bout was less the exciting and technical but didn't matter because everyone was already anticipating the next match. 

So, Kimbo comes out with a half shaven pubic chest and a grill mouth-guard with signs around him saying, "kick ass Kimbo".  haha...sorry I just chuckled when I remembered that.  You hear chants of, "KIMBO! KIMBO!" with an arena of ignorant MMA fans.  Then comes in this nobody, this guy who hasn't fought for a year and is coming off two lost fights in a row in 2007.  No one makes a noise, and everyone sees this guy as the sacrificial lamb of the Elite XC coming to give his life to save the face of Kimbo Slice.  The fight starts and we all think the same thing, "Great, another reason for morons to get on threads and argue their point of Kimbo being a legit fighter in the world." 

The two came to the middle of the cage ready to go, Petruzelli held his gloves out to respect and Kimbo of course tried to push intimidation in by just staring at him. Both went back to their corners and the fight began.  Kimbo came out pursuing immediately and Petruzelli put up terrible defence and flinched like an out of commission fighter would do, and then he throws a terrible front kick with a terrible right to left straight and we all though this kid was going to get killed....but.... wait...did Kimbo just fall to the ground?? Did everyone finally see he can't take a hit? Did he just completely destroy every opinion of ignorant MMA fans everywhere??? YES YES HE DID!!  Kimbo falls straight to the mat dazed and Petruzelli jumps on and lets loose as the ref stops the fight in fourteen seconds.

Alright, so here's the deal, ignorant MMA fans its time to stop sending in arguments about Kimbo Slice, and it is time you realized that Elite XC is no where near being a legit organization in the world of MMA.  Please let this be the last time we here from all of you because I know that we are all tired of your ignorance and lack of intelligence upon the sport.  Sorry if this seems harsh, but I feel its about time that we finally said what we've been trying to say the whole time....Kimbo Slice....is nothing but terrible. It only took a few seconds....and Kimbo Slice was welcomed into MMA by an unknown and untalented fighter.
