WWE: With No Heel Turn at WrestleMania, Where Does Christian Go from Here?

Gone Baby GoneApr 3, 2011

After Sunday night's WrestleMania garnered no heel turn from "Captain Charisma," many are left to wonder what's next for Christian?

Leading up to the biggest event of the year, there was much speculation about the IWC darling's heel turn. Sadly, this never happened, as Christian took the high road and ultimately helped Edge retain his title.

A heel-turn, would have been huge for Christian as he would have solidified himself as a legit main-eventer.

Now "peeps" worldwide are left to speculate on their hero's future.

Hopefully, this minor push will give him some momentum and Christian will be featured in some better matches. Because, as we all know prior to his injury Christian was jobbing to just about anyone with a pulse in the WWE.

So here are five possible story-lines, that can happen in the next few months.

Hope you enjoy

Brodus Clay

This may be the most obvious feud for Christian, as the two have been battling it out since Christian's return. This feud could  makes sense and could come to a head at Extreme Rules.

Sadly, I can't see this match being anything but an opener for the pay-per-view event.

Special Guest Referee in Edge-Del Rio Rematch

2 of 5

This would be Christian's chance to screw Edge for the title and allow him to turn heel.

Undoubtedly Del Rio will ask for a rematch, so what better place to have it than Extreme Rules and who better to officiate than Edge's former tag-partner?

Ultimately this would lead up to the next slide.

Edge

After Christian's loss at WrestleMania, and screw-job at Extreme Rules, it's time for the two friends to square off and settle their differences at Over The Limit.

Alberto Del Rio

4 of 5

Del Rio was the man who took Christian out for several months. This would be a great grudge match for both men, especially since Christian has not had a real one-on-one revenge match against Del Rio.

Edge and Chritsian Reunite

5 of 5

The former seven-time tag champs could reignite the WWE's tag division. This obviously would mean that Edge would have to drop the WHC, so he could put all of his focus on winning the tag-titles for an eighth time.

This would work out great for both men, especially with Edge's retirement rumors running rampant. This would allow Edge to retire on a high note and give Christian some more time in the spotlight.
