NCAA Bracket 11: As Members of Big Blue Nation, We Should Be Proud of the Cats
The long and winding road has come to an end. After a fantastic run dating back to defeating Florida in the regular season, Josh Harrellson played his final game at the University of Kentucky.
That line is painful to swallow, but look at everything this team went through.
After the painful decision of Enes Kanter, the loss at Chapel Hill, and the rough road stretch in the SEC, Kentucky was still a Final Four Team. That folks is something we should be proud of, as the future looks very promising in Lexington.

After the Kanter decision came out, many people predicted it would be a long season for Kentucky, and for a little while it really was. There were a lot of bumps and bruises, hostile environments, and bigger teams but still the Wildcats prevailed.
We shouldn't point fingers at where the team struggled, but look at the fact that seven players took the Wildcats program farther than any team had in the thirteen years before them. Be proud that Josh Harrellson developed himself into a Wildcat legend in his senior season.
I know Kentucky fans, this is hard to deal with. We've waited for a long time to see a Final Four and finally it was here, only to lose in such a close game.
But I couldn't be happier with the success of this team. They ended the season hot and won the SEC title, got revenge when they defeated West Virginia, knocked out the number one overall seed Ohio St Buckeyes, and avenged the North Carolina loss.
Now the waiting game kicks in. We wait not only to find out if these sensational Freshman players stay at Kentucky, but we also wait to see the names Davis, Teague, Gilchrist & Wiltjer in our programs.
Let's accept the fact that there is not one coach out there who could have turned these boys into men the way John Calipari did. The future finally looks bright in Big Blue Nation.
