2011 Oakland Raiders: Projected Offensive Starting Lineup

Yusuf HassanCorrespondent IApril 1, 2011

#1 WR: Darrius Heyward-Bey

If Chaz is healthy, it’s Chaz’s position to win. Considering his history, though, I wouldn't bet on it.

LT: Jared Veldheer

Look for Veldheer to make great bounds in his sophomore campaign. And don’t be surprised to see this guy in the Pro-Bowl by year four.

LG: Marcus Cannon (Rookie)

With Veldheer beside him, the Raiders left side will boast the meanest young tandem in the NFL. Look for the Raiders to run to the left side early and often.

Center: Samson Satele

For those who thought Satele was finished, he surprised all of his critics in 2010 by anchoring an offensive line unit that boasted one of the best rushing attacks in the league.

RG: Bruce Campbell

In his sophomore campaign, Campbell will take the reins from the disappointing Cooper Carlyle. Expect the yards per rush to increase from the sub-four yards per rush while rushing to the right side.

RT: Langston Walker

He’s not great, but he’s serviceable at right tackle.

TE: Zach Miller

Expect Zack to be back and steadily on the attack.

#2 WR Jacoby Ford

Ford is the most explosive receiver on the team. It will be a crime and a disservice to him and the organization not to get the ball in Ford’s hand as much as possible.

QB: Jason Campbell

If he stays off his back, he leads the Raiders to the playoffs. If he’s mauled constantly, as he was against the Steelers last year, expect Oakland to go 8-8 again.

RB: Darren McFadden

If McFadden stays healthy, I’m predicting he will lead the NFL in rushing. Enough said!

FB: Marcel Reece

What can’t this guy do? Read my lips, Marcel Reece will join Zack Miller and Darren McFadden in the Pro Bowl.
