WWE News: Ultimate Warrior Returns to Rock the House

Gone Baby GoneApr 1, 2011

According to metalinjection.net, the legendary Ultimate Warrior will be featured on metal band Winds Of Plague's latest album.

He will be taking part in a spoken word track for the band. The name of the track is called "The Warrior's Code."

Unfortunately, you have to buy the album in order to hear the track, as the band has only released one song, entitled "Monster," available on their Facebook page. However, I am sure as the album rolls out we will hear "The Warrior's Code" on several outlets.

As most of you know, The Ultimate Warrior was a staple in the WWE during the late 80s and early 90s. He was the first wrestler to hold both the intercontinental and WWE championship at the same time.

Even though he is considered to be a bit eccentric, the Warrior's resume is quite impressive.

He holds the distinction of being the first man to beat Hulk Hogan cleanly. Also, during one of his comebacks, he destroyed Triple H at WrestleMania.

Since his WWE departure, Warrior attempted several comebacks. One of which happened in WCW, sadly that comeback was more of a self-serving one for Hulk Hogan, as Hogan sought revenge, since he never really got over the fact that Warrior beat him years earlier.

After his retirement, Warrior went on to become a motivational speaker and legally changed his name from James Helwig to Warrior.

On the lighter side of this news, pwtorch.com did a spoof story on the Warrior, saying he signed with TNA. This, of course, led to someone putting that info on his Wikipedia page.
