New England Patriots: Leigh Bodden Rehabbing Nicely and "Ready to Play"
New England Patriots cornerback Leigh Bodden made a guest appearance on Sirius NFL Radio Thursday morning and discussed his rehabilitation from a torn rotator cuff, which resulted in him missing the entire 2010 season.
As Bodden sat in with hosts Bob Papa and Ross Tucker, he had good news to give regarding his shoulder.
"The rehab is great, my arm feels great," Bodden told Papa and Tucker. "I was thinking to myself the other day, 'Man, I’m ready for some action. I’m ready to play.'"

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
For Patriots fans, this is certainly good news to hear.
With the emergence of rookie sensation cornerback Devin McCourty, along with Bodden, the Patriots could have one of the league's best cornerback tandems.
Bodden went on to say how he's been working hard to get back onto the field, and his rehab is going accordingly:
“The longer I have to heal, the better it is, but it’s really feeling good. I still continue to rehab every day. It's feeling great.”
Bodden, who's turning 30 in September, signed a one-year contract in 2009 and played extremely well in his first season as a Patriot. Bodden played in 15 games as the team's No. 1 cornerback and recorded 48 tackles while intercepting five passes, one of those for a touchdown.
Following Bodden's breakout year as a Patriot, he agreed to a four-year contract worth $22 million, with $10 million being guaranteed.
Bodden is set to return to New England's secondary when the NFL lockout is over.
