WWE WrestleMania 27 Results: 10 Worst in-Ring PPV Outfits

If we learned anything from WrestleMania 27, it was that no matter how big the show or what caliber the talent...their outfits don't always seem to fit the bill.

This year we got to see Captain Mysterio, in what I must say is one of the worst ideas for an outfit Mysterio has ever had, but there were much worse.

Michael Cole also proved that not only should you think twice before wearing a sleeveless shirt when you have awful tattoos, you should also consider how tacky and terrible your outfit is before you step into an arena filled with over 70,000 people and not to mention millions of people watching at home.

Sunday was a sad day to be a Cole Miner.

This article compiles 10 of the worst PPV outfits in the History of the WWE (and all brands that they own).

#10: Billy and Chuck WrestleMania X-8

If their matching outfits don't show you that there is good reason for them to be on this list then search any Billy and Chuck video or picture.  That is defense enough.

#9: The Boogeyman WrestleMania 22

The Boogeyman is number nine and not higher because this was how he looked all of the time, but if the worms hanging out of his mouth, or even the arm sleeves don't make him a part of this list, then I do not know what should make this list.

No. 8: The Warlord, Royal Rumble 1990

Where to start...we could start with the face paint, the leather studded shoulder harness, the overgrown beard or even the reverse mohawk that is more like two globes of hair on the back side of his head.  I don't think I can say anything else to make my point any clearer.

No. 7: Michael Cole, WrestleMania 27

Luckily this picture does not make us privy to the terrible tattoos on Cole, but it still has us looking at the Steiner Brothers reject.  If only Big Poppa Pump could comment on that outfit.

No. 6: John Cena, WrestleMania 22

I do not know what is worst, the fact that John Cena was WWE Champion or that the WWE let him do this type of entrance.

This is just the worst entrance ever, but the Outfit does deserve to get No. 6 on this list.

No. 5: The Spirit Squad, Unforfgiven 2006

Now, male cheerleaders usually get a lot of slack for their flamboyant ways and well, yes they again are being slacked upon.  Who better for the No. 5 spot than the five men who make up the Spirit Squad.  Who would have thought that Dolph Ziggler would have been SS Member Nicky!

They did however give their opponents, The Highlanders, a close fight for the worst attire for the PPV, and by sheer numbers alone this spot was theirs.

No. 4: Glacier, WCW Uncensored 1997

No, don't adjust your computer screen.  You are not playing a game of mortal combat.  This guy was an actual real, living, breathing WCW Superstar, and one of my favorites when I was a kid to be exact.  I do not know what I was thinking.

He did however make a terrible appearance with his already terrible outfit at WCW Uncensored 1997.  He won that match, but definitely did not win best dressed.

No. 3: Giant Gonzales, WrestleMania IX

What is there to be said for the only non-decisive win on The Undertaker's WrestleMania Streak repertoire?  The man is wearing a skin tight muscle-lined leotard with fur covering his unmentionables.

Congratulations on being the only asterisks in The Undertaker's WrestleMania profile and for being the 3rd Worst Dressed Superstar on a PPV.

No. 2: Triple H, WrestleMania 22

First John Cena and then Triple H...?  Wow, this is a very well deserved spot.  It's as if Mantaur and The Warlord had a child and raised it under the tutelage of John The Baptist.

Thank God, what Triple H pulled out at this years WrestleMania was much, much better and actually looked cool. This outfit makes me want to turn off my computer and stop writing this article.

But we must press on to No. 1

No. 1: Rey Mysterio, WrestleMania 22

WrestleMania 22 must have been a terrible day for the wardrobe department.  Maybe someone overslept or took too much LSD before the show but, come on.  I get that he is trying to represent and pay homage, but that is just ridiculous.

Very deserving of the No. 1 Spot!  At least his match was good, but wow, just wow.  That was the worst entrance attire I have ever seen and not to mention what looked to be Leather pants.
