The IWC's All-Time Dream Card: The Results! (With Video)
A "card" in wrestling refers to all the matches at the particular event, whether it be NXT or WrestleMania. If you're a wrestling fan, the thought of a dream card has probably entered your mind at least once.
Sunday night, I posted an article asking you to post your dream card. This card was able to have any wrestler involved that you wanted. And although I only received lackluster results, I have enough feedback to make a card.
So here you go, this is the dream card that was created by vote of the IWC!
Note: I added the stipulations to these matches.
Last Man Standing Match: Big Show vs. Andre the Giant
1 of 11With both of them, you're talking about nearly 1,000 pounds in the ring. This would literally be two giants colliding. Add that to the fact that they are beating the crap out each other in a last man standing match, how great would this have been?
Granted, it wouldn't be the most technically sound wrestling match, but these two could definitely put on a show.
I think Andre The Giant would go over here, because he's bigger, taller, stronger and has the bigger legacy in pro wrestling history.
TLC Match: Edge & Christian vs. Beer Money Inc.
2 of 11Yes, I know. Out of all the possible tag teams in pro wrestling history, we chose two that teamed up within the past 10 years. However, I didn't put these matches together.
Beer Money vs. E&C could be not only a great match but a great feud.
We all know Edge and Christian are great in the ring and on the mic, but how about Beer Money?
Many believe that when this team breaks up, Robert Roode could go on to be a TNA main event guy. He is solid in every area that is needed. Meanwhile, James Storm is pretty talented in the ring. Together, they gel perfectly.
Hell in a Cell Match: Kane vs. Abyss
3 of 11A few months back, I did this same thing for current wrestlers only. This match is one of two that is on both cards.
Many say Abyss is TNA's rip off of a masked Kane. And, if you look at things, they are very similar. Hopefully, TNA never unmasks Abyss like the WWE did Kane.
Nonetheless, I believe Kane would win, since he is the original here.
Ladder Match: Shawn Michaels vs. John Morrison
4 of 11The IWC just can't help itself can it?
From the bedazzled pants, to long hair, to the amazing moveset, people love to compare John Morrison to Shawn Michaels.
As seen above, you can draw comparisons between the two. However, to think Morrison is in Michaels' league as of now, is probably nothing but foolish. I like John Morrison, but he is severely lacking charisma.
I would have Morrison win, as it would be a career defining moment for him.
Steel Cage Match: Batista vs. Brock Lesnar
5 of 11Locking two "animals" in a steel cage together and see who can crawl out? Sounds good to me.
I'm not sure who would win here. How about this: In wrestling, Batista wins. However, Lesnar wins in a MMA fight since Batista left the WWE to pursue "the real stuff."
To get you hyped for something that will most likely never happen, watch the video.
Best Two out of Three Falls (Submission Only): Daniel Bryan vs. Chris Beniot
6 of 11Unfortunately, most will not remember Chris Benoit for his amazing wrestling ability. I don't think there is a need to rehash why, because most of us know why. Now, I will attempt to make an uneasy transition into this dream match.
This is a match the Internet Wrestling Community druels over. Actually, I could replace druel with a lot of other words, but I digress.
The technical wrestling ability of both men here would create an epic match. And just to think it would be two out of three falls (submissions only) match...wow.
Falls Count Anywhere Match: Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan
7 of 11Many think "Stone Cold" Steve Austin should have gotten the match with Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 18, not The Rock.
These two have both been the face of the WWE at one point in time. However, unlike many face vs. face matchups, their gimmicks clash.
I would pick Steve Austin to win.
"I Quit" Match: Kurt Angle vs. Bret Hart
8 of 11Like Bryan vs. Benoit, this would be a wrestling clinic. And not only that, but you could take the United States vs. Canada angle here and make it into a feud. Obviously, in that case, Angle is the face and Hart is the heel.
I have no clue who would here.
Streak vs. Career: The Undertaker vs. Sting
9 of 11Many made the mistake of thinking that the 2/21/11 vignettes that aired on Monday Night Raw just a short time ago was leading up to the debut of "The Icon" Sting in the WWE.
They also thought that he would challenge The Undertaker at WrestleMania.
Alas, it wasn't meant to be. And it looks as if Sting in the WWE will never happen, and unless The Undertaker ends up in TNA (which is even more unlikely) this matchup will never happen.
I guess we can still dream, can't we?
John Cena vs. The Rock
10 of 11Unlike the Undertaker vs. Sting, this is seems very likely to happen.
In case you've been on Mars for the past month and a half, The Rock has come back to the WWE, and he didn't take a liking to some things John Cena said about him in 2008.
This has led to a war of words, that continues Monday night on Raw when The Rock and Cena finally meet face to face. Oh, and inserting The Miz is like pouring gasoline into a fire.
I don't think he will be in the WrestleMania match, but I do think he will wrestle inside a WWE ring against John Cena. After all, this war of words has gone too far for the two to just hug it out at WrestleMania.
If you smell...

Later today, I will continue my weekly Top 10 series with the Top 10 Faces in Pro Wrestling History.
Before that happens, I have one more thing to take care of...
I have began a twitter at Ryan_FryeBR. If I get enough followers, I will start tweeting my thoughts live during Raw, Tough Enough, Impact and Smackdown.
I hope you enjoyed!
