The minute Danny Woodhead left the New York Jets locker room and joined the New England Patriots, he instantly became a fan favorite.
Whether it's his hard work ethic, his size or just his "average Joe" appearance, the fans of New England absolutely love this guy.
It'd be a great due of respect of he won the honors of the Madden cover boy.
Productive 2010 Season

Woodhead was very much overshadowed last season outside of New England thanks to running backs like Chris Johnson, Arian Foster and Adrian Peterson.
If you take a look at Woodhead's stats, he had a very effective and tremendous 2010 season for the Patriots.
Woodhead rushed for a total of 547 yards and averaged a total of 5.6 yards per carry—that's unbelievable.
Along with his great running abilities, Woodhead was a dangerous threat when he was a receiver. He caught a total of 34 passes for 379 yards. Woodhead finished the '10 season with a total of six touchdowns.

Prior to the week two matchup of the Jets and Patriots, New York cut Woodhead and he signed a contract with the New England Patriots.
Woodhead became an a "Jet killer."
In his two games against New York, Woodhead scored one touchdown and put up 213 all-purpose yards.
Not Your Average Guy
4 of 5
My favorite thing about Woodhead is that he's just your average guy.
If you saw him on the side of the street, you'd have no clue that he was a professional football player.
Woodhead stands in at 5'9", but it's reported that he's as short as 5'7".
To the typical NFL fan, Woodhead has a lot to offer, considering his size and attitude. Not only does he give hope to young football players who aren't necessarily the biggest and strongest, but he's pure evidence that you can become a pro even though you lack traditional size.
He's an Underdog
