Is This Undefeated Bills Team For Real?
The Buffalo Bills are off to a great start as they enter their fifth week with a surprising, yet impressive 4-0 record, but how promising is this undefeated team, and can we expect them to be a legitimate playoff contender?
Combined, the past four opponents the Bills have faced this year have a record of 4-11, not so impressive. Although every team in the NFL does have many talented players, and a chance to be a successful team, coaching problems and injuries have made the bills past victories quite easy.
The Bills have a chance to go 5-0 for the first time since 1991 this week as they travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals. The Cardinals are a strong team, with a dangerous offense in Larry Fitzgerald, Kurt Warner, and Anquan Boldin... who most likely will not be able to play this week because of a head injury.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So if the Bills tally up another win, can you expect them to continue their success after their bye week as they face more dangerous opponents such as the Chargers, Patriots, and the Broncos? I think so. This team has transformed from a young and talented team, to a confident, more experienced, and dangerous organization on all sides of the ball, rather its on Offense, Defense, and Special teams.
Here's the break-down..
Offense
Trent Edwards has been hot in the second half of all his games, and instead of being a two-year quarterback, he is looking like a seven or eight year veteran. Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson are both very powerful running backs who also have great speed and hands for making catches out of the backfield.
Wide receivers such as Lee Evans and Josh Reed have played admirably as well. Put a large, talented, and experienced offensive line in front of all that, and you have a strong offense. Only problems they face, is losing their elusive, and speedy wide receiver Roscoe Parrish to a 4-6 week thumb ligament injury.
Defense
The defensive line is anchored by the disruptive force of Marcus Stroud, a three-time Pro Bowler. Defensive ends such as two time Pro Bowler Aaron Schobel, and Chris Kelsay will be able to apply more pressure on opposing quarter-backs because of Stroud's ability to collapse their offensive line.
Linebacker Paul Posluszny has grown into a very smart player, and leads his team in tackles. Corner-backs Jabari Greer and Terrence McGee along with Ashton Youboty have also become smart players who cover and tackle well.
Top it off with Safeties Donte Witner and Ko Simpson, who deliver harsh tackles, and great coverage and you have another strong piece to this Buffalo Bills puzzle. Terrance McGee's recent knee-sprain could propose some problems for to their pass coverage for the next couple weeks. First round draft pick Leodis Mckelvin will have to step in for him and learn quickly.
If the Bills can gain another road victory this Sunday in Arizona, they will be 5-0 going into their bye week. This will allow the team to gain extraordinary confidence as well has "team-gelling" allowing them to become a very difficult team to defeat in the NFL. Expect the rest of the season to be successful and very exciting, and as always, BILLieve.
