Not only did he beat Takeya Mizugaki, the seventh-ranked bantamweight fighter according to Sherdog.com, but now he's beaten Eddie Wineland, the former WEC bantamweight champion.
His punches are as strong as ever, his takedowns have looked solid and he still has those deadly submissions he loves to deploy on sleeping enemies.
Faber looks as good as he did during his run as the WEC featherweight champion, now he looks to make the same run one step lower at bantamweight.

The UFC hasn't even had one bantamweight title fight yet and they could already have the biggest 135-pound fight in MMA history on their hands.
Faber, the household name in the smaller sized divisions, the fan favorite, one of the all-time greats at featherweight. Then you have Cruz who has been on a tear in recent years at bantamweight.
And guess who his only loss in his entire MMA career has come against?
