UFC News: Brock Lesnar Talks Ultimate Fighter and Junior Dos Santos

Sal DeRoseMar 19, 2011

In an interview for The Ultimate Fighter Brock Lesnar spoke out about multiple things.

"This is who I am, this who I've been my whole life and I finally found myself. I was an amateur wrestler, I was a professional wrestler, then I tried out to be a professional football player, I'm a professional Ultimate Fighter," Lesnar said in the interview.

Lesnar has a huge chip on his shoulder leading into The Ultimate Fighter after losing his title to Cain Velasquez back at UFC 121 last October.

Following that loss, Lesnar has taken the role of being a coach for this season's The Ultimate Fighter with fellow heavyweight, Junior dos Santos.

"They're here because they wanna better their life you know? They want to provide a better living for their family, they want to be a fighter just like me," Lesnar said about his soon-to-be pupils. "We got six, seven weeks with these kids to try to get them to execute and win fights. They're all not going to win. That's the beauty of it."

The fight following this season could decide the heavyweight division's number one contender, getting Brock just one step closer to regaining his title.

"This guy's in my way. That's the only thing I give a s--- about. He's in my way to get my title back," Lesnar said. "I was and I will be again, the UFC heavyweight champion of the world."

Lesnar also seems to already be offering advice to his new pupils in the video.

"I just suffered a huge loss, that's fighting. That's the name of the game, that's the world. As the world turns, people win, people lose, you get your a-- back on the saddle and ride into town again," said Lesnar.

The Ultimate Fighter premieres on March 30th at 10:00 p.m. EST, on Spike TV.
