TNA News: Hulk Hogan Claims He Now Runs Creative End
Do with this what you will. The Hulkster posted on his Twitter account that he took over creative three weeks ago.
Before you get too worked up, this could mean many things.
First, he could be playing his on-air character through Twitter, as he and Eric Bischoff gained "complete control" over TNA three weeks ago. Another option is he indeed took on a bigger backstage role while he was injured.
The final option is Hogan has been involved in some aspects of Micro Championship Wrestling. It's probably more likely that MCW would allow Hogan to help on the creative end over TNA.
As most wrestling fans know, Hogan attempted to have more of a backstage presence when he first came to TNA. However, he fell flat on his face.
Hogan has a great mind for his character and knows how to work in-ring and on the mic. However, outside of that, he doesn't seem to be very wrestling business-savvy, which is odd considering how long he has been involved in wrestling.
Not saying that he should be a jack-of-all-trades, but he should know how to create a character and get it over with the fans. How he handled the Abyss situation was deplorable and may have ruined The Monster's tough-guy credibility.
PWInsider.com did reach out to TNA to confirm the change in management. According to its source, TNA has not made any such change to creative.
Let the speculation begin.
