Entrance Themes of the Corre: Which Version Was Your Favorite?

Roger T. Mar 12, 2011

This article talks about the WWE faction known as The Corre, who debuted nearly two months ago on Friday Night Smackdown.

They began forming after Wade Barrett was exiled from Nexus and began competing on the blue brand. Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel left the New Nexus after refusing to take part in the initiation process. Ezekiel Jackson made his return to Smackdown, and surprisingly joined to new group.

Week after week, The Corre always took part in Smackdown. They took part whether it was a match, or a four man beat down.

There is always something that makes up a stable—an entrance theme.

Corre has had many versions in their first two months. All versions have the same lyrics but different bands. Here's a list of all the versions:

Version 1: The music was primarily used by Wade Barrett for one night only. I'm still including this one since it has the same lyrics, and the Corre debuted on the same night Wade used this song.

Version 2: The Corre debuted as a official faction with a name, lighting, graphics and merchandise with this version. I thought that the song matched the group well. This version is personally my favorite.

Version 3: This version was okay to listen to, but it didn't match the group well. The song is more instrumental than hardcore. I was glad that they removed this version.

Version 4: The song really improved with this version. It sounds more strong and hardcore. The debut of this song had about a three second intro. The intro was cut out and it is the song most recently used in the last few weeks. It's a great song to listen to.

Version 5: It is a slower version of theme four. This version debuted last night on Smackdown. I don't think it was all bad. I prefer the faster version.

Overall, I wish the Corre would stop changing theme song every other week. It's always bothering me when you have a favorite song one week then removed the next. So my fellow bleacher readers, which version was your favorite?
