TNA: Victory Road Card and Predictions

Charlie GMar 11, 2011

TNA presents Victory Road LIVE on pay-per-view this Sunday, March 13! Victory Road will be held in Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

There are seven matches scheduled for the event.

There will be a Knockout Tag Team Championship match, X Division title match, Tag Team title match and World Heavyweight Championship match.

Here is the card and my predictions.

Knockout Tag Team Championship: Sarita & Rosita Vs. Angelina Love & Winter

1 of 8

The Knockout Tag Team Championships will finally be defended.

This is the only match featuring Knockouts on the card.

I think Sarita and Rosita will work well during the match. Making quick tags and hitting some double team moves.

I also think that Angelina Love will get the most action in the match. I don't expect to see Winter do much damage during the match.

Sarita and Rosita will dominate Angelina majority of the match.

Winners: Sarita and Rosita

Bully Ray Vs. Tommy Dreamer

2 of 8

This match will be pretty slow, but will have back and forth action.

This match is just a standard singles match. Win by pin fall or submission.

I think Ray will be the favorite in this match.

Bully Ray will win by disqualification after interference by Devon. Bully Ray will have Dreamer down and ready to hit him with a chain, then enter in the ring against Devon.

Devon will attack Ray, causing him to get the win.

The result of the match would anger Dreamer and may trigger a three way match for Lockdown.

Winner: Bully Ray

Tag Team Championship: Ink Inc Vs. Beer Money

3 of 8

Beer Money had the belts since January and had only a couple of title defenses. Which is why I see them losing this Sunday.

If Ink Inc wins will we see more defenses than Beer Money's current reign?

The only defense I remember Beer Money had was against Gunner & Murphy.

Both teams are great. Beer Money is a four time tag team champion. Ink Inc has zero title reigns.

The Ink Inc vs. Gen. Me match from this past iMPACT! proved Ink Inc is ready for a title shot.

TNA always puts on great tag team matches. This one will be no different.

Winners: Ink Inc. (The book of D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F. says so.)

Ultimate X Title Match: Max Buck Vs. Jeremy Buck Vs. Robbie E Vs. Kazarian

4 of 8

The match that never happened.

This match was originally booked for Against All Odds, just without Kazarian in it. The match didn't happen, due to Generation Me's travel issues.

Max Buck, Jeremy Buck and Robbie E all never won an Ultimate X. Kazarian won five. Advantage: Kazarian.

Generation Me and Kazarian are always good picks for an Ultimate X match. It should be interesting to see how Robbie will do in his first ever Ultimate X match.

I expect big things from this match. High speed action delivered by Generation Me's Max and Jeremy Buck. Hopefully a leg drop from the top of the structure by Kazarian and a fist pump by Robbie.

Winner: Kazarian

Matt Hardy Vs. AJ Styles

5 of 8

AJ Styles has been kicking ass for two weeks in a row now.

First he beat up Flair and Hernandez. Then last iMPACT! he beat the hell out of Flair and Matt Hardy in a losing effort.

Now he has Hardy one-on-one.

What's stopping AJ from beating the hell out of Hardy this time?

Hardy and AJ had a good match on iMPACT, I think they can do it again.

Winner: AJ Styles

First Blood: Matt Morgan Vs. Hernandez

6 of 8

These two meet again.

Matt Morgan vs. Hernandez in a first blood match.

This match can be good, especially with the first blood stipulation. However, I hope this ends their feud because it's pretty boring now.

These two feuded last year and are feuding again now.

This match can go either way. If Hernandez wins, the feud continues. If Morgan wins, the feud should end.

I want Morgan to win, but don't see it happening.

Winner: Hernandez

Number One Contender Match: Mr. Anderson Vs. RVD

7 of 8

This match looks awesome on paper. I've been waiting for these two to collide since their debuts.

Mr. Anderson vs. Rob Van Dam has the making to steal the show.

These two should go back and forth.

I like Anderson coming into this match. He has shown a mean streak in recent weeks. He's more aggressive now. Anderson has a fire lit under him and I like this Anderson. I want to see more of this guy in this state of mind.

I want RVD to win, just so Anderson's mean streak will continue. Anderson will do anything for his re-match.

Winner: RVD

TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Hardy Vs. Sting

8 of 8

Jeff Hardy is getting his World title rematch this Sunday.

On the March 3rd iMPACT! Sting returned and won the title and still looked good in the ring for a man his age.

Their match on March 3rd seemed too short. Hopefully they'll get a longer match at Victory Road.

I don't see Sting losing the title because his reign would be too short. This match is going to have a clean finish. I can't imagine any Immortal members coming to the aid of Jeff Hardy.

My predicted finish: Hardy goes for a Twist of Hate, Sting counters with a Scorpion Death Drop for a three count.

Winner: Sting
