WSU-UCLA: Game Preview
Washington State meets UCLA this afternoon in Pauley Pavilion. As far as this game goes, there’s really not much that needs telling. If you follow college basketball, you have probably heard all the inside scoop on both teams.

UCLA comes into today's game ranked #5 in the nation and they have truly earned that recognition. At this point in the season, there are really only four other teams that would be able to match them well. One of those four teams is WSU.
WSU comes into today's game ranked #4 in the nation. Just like the Bruins, they deserve it.
Both teams play deliberately on both offense and defense. Their focus in each game is to impose their will on the opponent. Both teams have been very successful with this tactic thus far. Neither team commits many turnovers and both do well from the foul line, though there is a slight edge here in favor of the Cougs.
There should be two benchmarks offering a clue as to the outcome. The first team to establish a double-digit lead for at least two possessions will likely win. The other indicator is the score: the first team to score 60 points should win.
