Counting Down My 5 Not So Great Moments of Bleacher Report Journalism
Thanks to the outlet that is the Bleacher Report any idiot like me can be a sports columnist. On that note, after 49 articles, I have decided to look back at my five worst moments of writing on this site.
Yes I've felt shame, but I spent my two minutes in the box, than I got free!

Okay, so the title was a little harsh, but for years living in B.C. I have had to put up with some pretty ignorant fans of Vancouver, and the article sparked alot of nasty comments-36 to be exact. My favorite was from an anonymous that started out..."look at the picture of the guy who wrote this article, looks like inbreeding to me." And so began my career on the Bleacher Report.
4. The Danny Gare Fiasco
I had wrote a mock article that was supposed to spoof Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories from the ChappelleShow about how Danny Gare and I had partied together after I tried out for the Sabres in the 70's, even though I'm only 30.
Well I pissed off the wrong people and ended up having to make a call to the legendary Hall of Fame forward to apologize. Hmm I wonder if I wrote an article about Pam Anderson being hot if it would find it's way to her? That be sweet!
3. Ripping on Jagr
After writing numerous harsh articles about Jaromir Jagr I ran into the all-star forward at the MGM Grand in Vegas and found out he was a pretty decent guy.
2. Getting the Inside Scoop, Only to be Pooped On!
From the Rangers letting go of Jagr, and signing Wade Redden to the Flames picking up Curtis Joseph last season, I've had some insider info for fans weeks before it happened. The result: fans ripped me for writing the articles...NO MORE SCOOP FOR YOU—the Scoop Nazi.
1. Twas the Night Before Christmas in the NHL Only 467 Reads?
Ha ha believe it or not I was pretty bummed my whimsical look at the holiday classic didn't break 500 reads. I mean not to toot my own horn, but it was not bad and could be a nice bedside classic to all you hockey nuts out there.
Anyhow there is my look back, I can't wait to write the next 50. Thanks for reading my garbage.
