Fantasy Football Weekly Recap: Week Four

With Week Four nearly in the books, 23.53 percent of the fantasy football season has come and gone. (What can I say, we here at the Bruno Boys like to be exact.) That means there's 76.47 percent to go.

As always, this week in the NFL has left us with plenty to touch upon. From Brett Favre's six TDs to Larry Johnson's monster game, to the inspirational performance of Matt Bryant, we'll cover some of the bigger stories here in the Week Four Weekly Words.

Favre’s Phenomenal

It’s not often that you see a quarterback go for 472 yards and two TDs and still be outshined by the opposing team’s QB. Nor, is it often that you see Brett Favre do something that he’s never done in his 18-year career. But both of those things happened in Week Four in the Arizona Cardinals' matchup with the New York Jets.

After looking out of sync with his receivers for most of the Jets’ Week Three Monday Night game against the San Diego Chargers, Favre was on the same page with them throughout Sunday’s game, completing 24 of 34 passes for 289 yards and six TDs, a career high for Favre.

Three of Favre’s TDs went to Laveranues Coles, which is good news for Coles and Favre’s owners, as it appears Coles has put his man-love for Chad Pennington behind him and is building a nice rapport with Favre.

The Jets' passing game should continue to improve, as they build off this performance during the team’s Week Five bye.
