Wladimir Klitschko, David Haye to Get It On in June or July 2011?
Today, March 6 2011, it was agreed upon by David Haye's trainer Adam Booth and Wladimir Klitschko's manager Bernd Boente that they will get it on in Germany June 25 or July 2.
Haye-Klitschko negotiations heated up after a second cancellation of a bout with British heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora that was scheduled for April 30, due to a questionable abdominal injury by Klitschko that had not healed.
According to www.boxingfutures.com, Haye's trainer Booth told Sky Sports that the fight was on, saying, "We have a deal. We're happy with it, they're happy with it. They don't want to come to the UK for a couple of reasons. David is happy to go anywhere to fight Wladimir, he doesn't care if it's in his back garden. David is raring to go."
In Germany, Klitschko's manager Boente confirmed Booth's statements and told German newspaper Bild, "The fight is 99 percent sealed."
On www.fightnews.com Haye has started his thrash talking and agreed that the fight with Wladimir is a done deal.
Haye, the current WBA heavyweight champion, said, "This is an inevitable fight with an inevitable conclusion. Wladimir Klitschko is getting violently knocked out.
"I eat tall, chinny Eastern European heavyweights for breakfast. Wladimir is a fighter that doesn't like to fight, and he has admitted that fact in the past. Unfortunately for him, I am a fighter that loves nothing more than fighting."
Let's hope this anticipated fight goes down. Klitschko, Dr. SteelHammer, the reigning IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champ would get a chance to make Haye eat his words, or Haye will have to prove himself after all the trash talking.
