Is Larry Johnson Elite Again?

Brett Favre threw a career high six touchdowns.

Laveranues Coles caught three, Cotchery caught two.

Kurt Warner handed the game to the Jets and still threw for 472 yards.

Here’s my thought’s on a crazy day.

Larry Johnson will be held down by his team.

Denver struggles against the run, and Johnson has always tore them apart, so that makes me think this was misleading.

On the other hand Johnson looked good. He looked strong and fast, not like the broken down player of the first two weeks who wore every one of the 18,000 carries he’s had over the past three years.

I would sell him. The Chiefs are still going to trail more often then not and Herm Edwards seems determined to play anyone but Huard (Unless he has to) who’s their only quarterback.

Greg Jennings is a stud.

To all the pundits who had him ranked in the 50’s and 60’s pre-draft. Does anyone still think he’s not a top receiver?

Deuce McAllister is back.

He’s not worth starting yet, but he’s definitely who you want after Reggie Bush.

The Saints don’t have a number two receiver.

After Colston they’re all the same. Lance Moore had 7-101-2 in the first half and didn’t register a catch after that.

Steve Slaton is for real.

What he can’t get on the ground he can do through the air. He only had 10 carries for 33 yards, but he added another 83 on eight catches and a score.

If you own Derek Anderson, it’s time to put him in a paper sack and light him on fire…

And replace him with Jason Campbell, who's been solid ever since week one.
