NFL Fans Take Stand on Avoiding a Lockout
As fans of the NFL, many (OK—most) of us have felt a bit frustrated. We are the ones that supply the money to feed the engines. We fork over the money for tickets, pay for parking, food, jerseys and other souvenirs.
Even those of us that don't attend games still support the league in such large numbers that television networks are willing to shell out billions of dollars to broadcast games.
Despite being the ones that generate the money, we have had little opportunity to share a voice with the owners and players. They anticipate we'll just follow along, and when they get everything worked out we'll be there waiting.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
One group of season ticket holders (myself included) have decided we won't be an ignored, yet obedient, yard dog. We are taking a stand against the owners. If the teams want us to send in money for our tickets, the owners need to guarantee we'll be receiving the product we are owed.
We aren't expecting second-tier players. We aren't going to settle for make-shift games for the first month as teams scurry to sign free agents and teach them systems and playbooks following an extended work stoppage.
We want an extension of the current CBA signed, and a guarantee that free agency and Optional Team Activities (OTAs) and mini-camps are held. Otherwise, the NFL can't guarantee that we'll get a quality product on the field come September. With what we are being charged for our tickets, we certainly deserve the best product they can offer.
Please consider this your invitation to join us as we make our voices heard. An online petition is being circulated. If you would like to remind the NFL that the forgotten party at the bargaining table holds the purse that funds their livelihoods, please join us. You can view and sign the petition here.
