Chicago Cubs Drama: Aramis Ramirez and Carlos Silva Get into Dugout Spat
Only a dysfunctional organization like the Chicago Cubs could have two teammates get into it during a spring training game.
According to Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune, a dugout scuffle between Carlos Silva and Aramis Ramirez occurred Wednesday after the Cubs gave up six first-inning runs in an exhibition game versus the Milwaukee Brewers.
The fight was quickly broken up by players and coaches and order was restored. It began when Silva gave up six runs and watched his teammates commit three errors behind him, including one by Ramirez.

But the Cubs are such a hot mess that things like this don’t surprise me at all.
I could understand if two players on the same team get into it during the dog days of August when the grind of the baseball season catches up to them. But a couple of games into spring training? That’s just a bunch of Tom Foolery.
If the Cubs are fighting now, I could only imagine how things are going to be when they are 15 games out of first come August-September. I would have personally loved to see these two really go at it.
Just for fun, let’s look at the tale of the tape:
Based on this tale of the tape, I would have to give the edge to Silva.
The thought of him jumping around the ring and splashing Ramirez like The Earthquake used to do would be high comedy to me.
