WWE: The Rock Vs. John Cena = Feud of the Year
Let me start off by saying I don't hate John Cena like most people do.
I do tend to find his "superman" persona and poop jokes irritating occasionally, but other than that I actually like the guy. I think he's a great entertainer and whether some may like it or not, he's the face of the WWE right now.
He may not be the best wrestler out there, but he does put on a decent show when given the right opponent.

Now on to The Rock.
I grew up watching him every Monday and Thursday. He was the reason I wanted to be a wrestler when I was a little kid. He made it seem so fun and easy (crack jokes, kick ass, go home...repeat).
When he left seven years ago I always hoped he would return in a way that would never be forgotten and I think this is the case.
Let's be honest: The Rock will most likely never wrestle a match again, but that's OK—the promos he and John Cena are cutting about one another are better than any of the feuds going on at the moment, in my opinion.
Throw in the fact that they are trading shots at one another on Facebook and Twitter is even better.
The Rock and Jon Cena never even need to wrestle to win "Feud of the Year."
The promos that they have cut, the promos that they will cut and the eventual encounter between the two at WrestleMania will be something that people talk about for years.
I don't think this feud would even register on the same magnitude as it does if it weren't for the fact that John Cena legitimately ran his mouth for the last few years about The Rock to whoever would listen.
I think what The Rock said this past Monday was more than just a script and more than just an actor doing what he was told.
You could see the passion coming from him. He seemed legitimately pissed that his loyalties and love for the business were questioned.
I've been seeing people comparing this feud to The Rock and Hogan when Hogan first came back nine years ago.
Back then it was the face of the company (Rock) against the face of generations past (Hogan). Now, it's the face of the company (Cena) against the face of generations past (Rock).
The main difference between those two, however, is that in this case the fans are siding with the face of generations past.
But nonetheless, the feud between the two has given the older fans a reason to continue watching, it's also seemed to have given John Cena a breath of fresh air as his character has gotten a little edgier (kind of reminiscent of his old days).
I really do think though that even if this feud ends at WrestleMania (which I think it won't) it will still be hands-down the most interesting feud of the year.
What do you guys think?
Let the debating...begin!
