Silent Predator: Does CM Punk Have Another Predator After Him?
In this dog eat dog world of professional wrestling, there comes a time when a predator comes along.
From a muscular type like Batista to the size of Superstar like Edge, there’s always a Superstar looking to get ahead.
At the moment, there is only one man who can rightfully lay stake to the claim of King of the Jungle:

CM Punk.
Since taking the Nexus under his wing, CM Punk has certainly proven his worth to the WWE. Punk went from being the biggest disappointment of 2010 to the all-around best Superstar in the WWE. With the pack of wolves known as New Nexus following the Second City Saint, Punk is almost untouchable.
While Punk has his sights set on the Apex Predator, another animal has arisen to challenge the Straight Edge Messiah. The silent predator is likely to hide his intentions until after WrestleMania. This predator is small and agile but can bring severe pain at any given moment.
He’s also a somber predator, but is known for his innovative actions inside the ring.
The predator is known as Evan Bourne.
Several months ago, CM Punk was traded to RAW for Edge after numerous altercations between the GM and the Rated R Superstar. Punk defeated Bourne in his first match marking his return.
Being the predator he is, Punk “attacked” Bourne afterwards and effectively put Air Bourne on the shelf for months.
Evan made his surprising return this past Monday; squashing Sheamus in a matter of moments, Bourne’s shoulder injury seems as if it were a thing of the past. As I stated above, CM Punk is locked in a feud with Randy Orton with most expecting it to end at WrestleMania.
There are numerous outcomes for the match.
With the popular being Punk defeating Orton at WrestleMania and resume his feud with newly crowned WWE Champion, John Cena. Despite this, there are a number of problems with the outcome.
The Miz won’t receive his rematch with Cena, Orton will be left without a solid feud and John Cena may not defeat The Miz at WrestleMania.
The silent predator will likely participate in the Money in the Bank ladder match if the WWE moves forward with plans to hold it this year. Considering the strong possibility that Orton will defeat Punk at Mania, a feud with Evan Bourne could be just around the corner.
This feud is not for the sake of Punk because he can do without it.
Punk is talented enough to make an uncharismatic Superstar a big deal—an example would be The Miz and Daniel Bryan.
The ultimate purpose of any WWE Superstar is to get over with the fans.
With arguably the best talker in the WWE backing you, there’s not telling the heights Evan Bourne can reach.
Who knows?
Let’s hope Bourne is given the chance to pick up the mic. The WWE hasn’t given Air Bourne the opportunity to work the microphone and we can’t necessarily say Bourne is bad on the mic.
Only time will tell but one thing is for sure, CM Punk isn’t the only predator in the WWE.
