5 Things the IWC Says That Annoy and Confuse Me
This is a list of 5 things that I hear the Internet Wrestling Community says. Each of these things either annoy me or confuse me. Some do both. If you can explain any of these to me, please do so in the comment section. Also, since yesterday was a holiday here in Korea and I got the day off from work, there will be a Gail Kim photo spread at the end.
1. Listen to the Fans
1 of 8
The first reason that this annoys me is because it assumes that all wrestling fans are like you. They aren’t. We all like wrestling but we like different aspects of it.
The thing that you hate about a promotion is the reason another fan loves that promotion. For example: I’m a big TNA fan, but I hated that they brought back all the old ECW guys last year. However, there are a lot of people who loved it. Some people only watch TNA to see the old guys.
I’m not a huge fan of the flippy floppy X-Division stuff. However, there are a lot of people who ONLY watch TNA for that stuff.
Whenever I hear someone say “Listen to the fans” I ask, “which ones?”
Second, the fans constantly contradict themselves.
The best example is how the IWC complains about TNA hiring ex-WWE talent. Yet, I constantly see tweets sent to Dixie Carter on twitter (@TNADixie) begging her to hire an ex-WWE guy. I guess hiring ex-WWE talent is only bad until WWE releases the guy that you like.
And third, sometimes what the fans want isn’t good for business.
A lot of people loved that hardcore ECW stuff. They love seeing Abyss go through flaming tables and thumbtacks. He's cutting his career shorter every time he does this.
2. WWE Should Place More Importance on the Tag Team Division.
2 of 8
Why should they? TNA and ROH never shut up about their tag team titles. They put lots of focus on their tag belts and what has it gotten them? How many of you are actually choosing to spend your money on TNA and ROH instead of WWE because they have good tag team wrestling?
3. WWE Should Turn John Cena Heel

When I hear this, I wonder what color the sky is on the IWC's planet. Let’s take the biggest cash cow and change the main thing that makes him a cash cow. I know the 18-30 crowd would love to see Cena go heel, but are they going to buy the merchandise that the kids do? This is business people. It’s about selling shirts, arm bands, hats and tickets.
4. TNA Should Have Given Control to Paul Heyman

The reason most people give for why TNA should get rid of Hogan and Bischoff is that they have already run a company out of business.
OK. So your answer is to replace them with another guy who ran a company out of business? What success has Heyman really had? His company wasn’t successful. They didn’t make money. Some say that, to this day, there are ECW guys that are still owed money. If Heyman were so good, ECW would still be in business. I don’t see the logic in replacing one failure with another.
5. I Could Book the Show Better
5 of 8
This annoys because the people who say it never back it up. If you type the words "I can book the show better," the very next thing I see should be a link to where you’ve typed up a few story lines and TV shows.
I didn't have a picture for this slide so I used a Gail Kim photo.
