NFL Offseason Two-A-Days: The New York Giants
Writing about every team in the NFL is always interesting. My writing has spanned from "impeccable" to like an "illerate neanderthal."
Now it is time for my offseason preview of the New York Giants:
5. Has QB Eli Manning taken a step backward the past two seasons?

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In 2010, he threw the most interceptions of his career with 25.
In his defense, his completion percentage has improved every year he's been in the NFL. He also lost Plaxico Burress in that time frame.
Burress was the Giants' best receiver and seemingly had some chemistry with Manning.
That's not to say that Manning doesn't still have good weapons. Hakeem Nicks led the team with 79 receptions, while Mario Manningham, Steve Smith and Kevin Boss also had very productive seasons.
After showing you both sides of this arguement, I'll have to say he has taken a step backward from two years ago.
4. Who is the Giants most important running back: Brandon Jacobs or Ahmad Bradshaw?
I hate this question, because it's absolutely irrelevant. You need two running backs, so there is no need to pick one over the other.
However, the Giants seem to have more faith in Bradshaw. He had more carries and more yards.
At one point in 2010, there were rumblings of Brandon Jacobs being traded.
I believe these two backs complement each other very well. You've got speed with Bradshaw and power with Jacobs.
3. What can Tom Coughlin do with the team's turnover issues?
I would say it's a lack of discipline, but that's what Tom Coughlin is known for.
In fact, he's known for being overly disciplinary at times. Just ask Michael Strahan.
Eli did throw 25 interceptions. And while I hate to throw it all on him, that isn't what you expect from a Super Bowl-winning veteran quarterback.
To be fair, Ahmad Bradshaw had seven fumbles and Brandon Jacobs had two.
I guess these guys just need to be retaught on how to take care of the football.
2. What is the Giants top priority in the draft and/or free agency?
Linebackers are an issue.
Michael Boley had a difficult time adjusting to Perry Fewell's new defensive scheme in 2010. Clint Sintim has also had issues and is yet to show he is capable of holding onto his starting spot.
Georgia's Akeem Dent might be a good fit into Fewell's scheme. This would also allow the G-Men to spend the first round picks on other things, since Dent isn't projected to go that high.
Center Shaun O'Hara is aging and played hurt all season long. A first-round pick on Florida's Mike Pouncey may be a good idea, especially if he's anything like his brother.
1. Stock: Rising or Falling?
Tough question.
I think it goes down to what side of Eli Manning will we see?
The Eli who led the Giants to a Super Bowl-winning drive or the Eli that threw 25 interceptions?
Good Eli can lead the Giants to the promise land, while bad Eli will be sitting at home come playoff time.
