New England Possible Patriots: Could Cam Jordan Be the Next Willie McGinest?
Looking at Cameron Jordan, you might feel that he's a freak—a freak of nature.
The California defensive end is one of the most versatile players in this year's draft and already has a lot of talent with loads of potential.
In Indianapolis for the NFL Combine, Jordan impressed many franchises and increased his draft stock tremendously.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Jordan, who would fit nicely in New England's 3-4 defense as the team's defensive end, could also play a little outside linebacker position.
Former New England outside linebacker Willie McGinest was considered a hybrid and extremely versatile outside linebacker. McGinest had the ability to drop back into coverage and then also go down into a three-point stance and play defensive end.
Jordan, on the other hand, has played the majority of his collegiate career down in a three-point state. However, Jordan has the ability to learn the position of outside linebacker in the 3-4 defense.
At the 2011 Senior Bowl, Jordan played defensive end in the 4-3 defense, which is similar to the 3-4's outside linebacker—which leads scouts to believe Jordan could potentially convert.
Monday, at Lucas Oil Stadium, Jordan ran an unofficial 4.71 40-yard dash time.
Sure, 4.71 would be considered slow for the outside linebacker; however, Jordan does weigh 287 pounds, which is pure muscle.
New England's outside linebacker, Tully Banta-Cain, currently weights in at 250 pounds and isn't the fastest guy out there. If Jordan could drop a few pounds, not much, he could be a decent outside linebacker.
Scouts are in love with Jordan's explosiveness off the ball and his power and strength. One of his biggest attributes which help him out in pass rushing is his burly hands. Jordan's hands measure in at 11 and one eighth inches from pinkie to thumb, which is just almost abnormal.
Jordan is projected to be an early to mid first-round pick, and the Patriots fall in at 17th overall.
New England fans should be praying that Jordan falls to Bill Belichick and the Patriots because he would be a cornerstone to New England's young and rising defense.
