Multimedia Day at Mizzourah

• Pinkel Day came and went at ESPN and the Missourian has a great recap of the day. 

• I was fortunate enough to be in class during the live chat on ESPN.com. Which of course means I have no idea what was said during that 75-minute lecture. All I've got to say is GP needs some serious work on his typing skills (AD Mike Balden?).

• I think you have to be an ESPN Insider to get to these (fortunately I'm a subscriber) but here's the interview he gave on the Thundering Herd. I love the part when Colin Cowherd asks him how he recruited Chase Daniel and he refers to him as a "Five-star guy who everyone in the country wanted." Credit Pinkel for not being an asshole about calling him out for obviously not knowing a thing about Chase Daniel prior to this year. 

• And finally, his appearance on College Football Live. Pretty Tiger Talkish (although I kinda like the "recruiting visit") but damn does GP look good in that suit.

• Pretty solid Dave Matter Nebraska article mainly due to this Spoon quote about the '06 Nebraska game: "I remember coming in and the quarterback was calling my number, saying, ‘12 is at the Mike, 12 is at the Mike,’ " Weatherspoon said last Saturday, referring to the middle linebacker position. "And they ran it right at me. I'm just hoping they run it right at me this year." LETS GO!!!

• I ran across these kickass videos of the last time Mizzou won in Lincoln: 1978 Pregame show (be sure to check out the Truman at the 54-second mark), the six-minute version of the game (ran across this one on Matter's blog), and I'll go ahead and post the super-condensed version here since this is the play that makes watching the entire thing worthwhile. "Did you see that?!? Did you see him?!? Did you see him take that man and throw him down?!?" 

I'm officially JACKED UP for Nebraska.
