Maple Leafs Update: Game Time, SNAB, Ryan Hollweg

I his one preseason game so far Ryan Hollweg has almost scored, he got into a fight and a half, a couple of scrums, and he always, always, made sure that he got back up and kept going.

After trading Wade Belak, the Maple Leafs' only fighter, to the Florida Panthers at the deadline, Cliff Fletcher noticed that this team was missing a "goon".

I never before liked Ryan Hollweg, until now.

However, the only reason that I like Hollweg is because that he is a so called goon. He loves to fight, and he is not afraid to hit.

Game Time

This week the Maple Leafs went 1-1-0, picking up their first preseason win in Toronto, at the ACC, against Buffalo with a 7-4 victory.

Against the Penguins, the visiting Maple Leafs managed two goals in the final five minutes, including Mikhail Grabovksi's first of the preseason with 11.0 seconds left, but the comeback fell just short.

Overall record: 1-1-0

**fun fact: the Maple Leafs will play their first back-to-back games this preseason as they face the Pens tonight in Toronto, and Buffalo tomorrow, at the HSBC arena. The Saturday game will be the Leafs' first.**

SNAB

Saturday Nights After the Buzzer, also known as SNAB, will get warmed up tomorrow night. The reason that I say that it will get warmed up of course is because its only preseason. SNAB will have two preseason editions, with the first official one coming on October 7th, right after the Maple Leafs finish their home opener against Montreal.

The first preseason edition of SNAB, will be released sometime between post game on Saturday night, and 7:00 PM on Sunday night.
