“Continuing to have the best hair in Washington is exactly what I want to do,” Obama said Friday. “I am confident in the way I look and really like the way it feels on my shoulders. We all want to look our best, don’t we?”

Washington DC-On Friday, DNC Chairman Howard Dean took Presidential hopeful Barack Obama to the party salon, announcing that the star congressman would get a nice wig. The length and color of the wig was not disclosed, but according to the Washington Post, Obama agreed to a full makeover with an option for laser hair removal on his back if elected President.
While the precise value of the hair will not be known, the Post reported that the Democrats will pay nearly $50 million for the wig and as much as $70 million if he exercises the laser hair removal on his back next year. The 47-year-old would not be eligible for another wig unless he is elected again in 2012.

Obama recently purchased a hair salon in the area and has spent most of the time when not campaigning in with his stylist.
“My wife, Michelle, and I really enjoy having long hair and I look forward to continue to have long hair,” he added.
After more than two weeks of negotiations, Obama completed the hair deal two days before Obama is scheduled to leave for Las Vegas to compete in the 2008 “Queens of Las Vegas” competition.
