WWE News: Miss USA Rima Fakih to Be a Tough Enough Contestant

Gone Baby GoneContributerFebruary 18, 2011

It was announced on Thursday by USA Network and WWE that Rima Fakih, 2010's Miss USA, will be taking a shot at WWE Tough Enough.

Fakih will be a contestant in the show, which could net her a contract with the WWE. Fakih is yet another big name being added to the WWE reality show, as WWE stars Booker T and Stone Cold Steve Austin are slated to be the faces of the show.

According to the press release, Fakih stated, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to battle for a title in an entirely different competition. Miss USA is an incredible honor that’s provided invaluable experience which will undoubtedly help me as I push my performance and athletic skills to the limit. I look forward to learning if I have the mettle to make it in WWE.”

This is interesting news, as it would seem that Miss USA would not fit into a WWE surrounding. On the other hand, beauty pageants can also be a sideshow attraction.

Only time will tell if this beauty contestant has the skill and strength to take her to superstardom.

On a side note, Fakih has been linked to Blue Jays pitcher Ricky Romero, so maybe he will make a guest appearance on the show.
