Hate Him or Love Him Terrell Owens Is The Man

Terrell Owens antics have made headline news all over the nation, "That's my quarterback, man." "Getcha Popcorn" and so on and so forth.  But this popcorn eating son of a gun whether you like him or not is one of the best wide receivers of his time.  Now I'm not saying that you have to like him but if you've read some of my articles, respect is a key thing.

"T.O." has talked a lot of trash over the past 13 years ever since he arrived in the league with the San Francisco 49ers back in 1996, and all the way up to 2008 as a member of the Dallas Cowboys he's been backing it up, with his freakishly raw talent.

He has also stirred up a lot of controversy, last season with trying to commit suicide, being known as a huge locker room distraction, creating problems within the team. (49ers - Jeff Garcia, Eagles - Donovan McNabb) But ever since arriving in Dallas - America's Team - Jerry Jones has found away to keep this egotistical all-star from ruining what he has built.

No one can take away from him that he does makes things very interesting, there never is a boring moment when T.O. gets up to speak.  He always makes a preview for a game or always trash talks the other team, and it creates media attention, something that everyone can talk about.  When he started smack talking about McNabb and claiming Donovan felt like T.O. was bigger than him, the Monday Night Football game against the Eagles got even bigger hype, Joey Porter is a great example when he smashed the Patriots.

I mean let's face it he's going to be in the Hall of Fame with career numbers up to this date.  With 13,263 receiving yards, 132 T.D.s he's a definite candidate, T.O. still has some years in him, as he still is one of the quickest and smartest players on the field.
