Roberto Alvarez-GallosoFeb 18, 2011

Cesc Fabregas ended speculation concerning his future by declaring his intentions to remain with Arsenal FC.

He stated that the club and Arsene Wenger have given him everything, including his first chance at football.

Fabregas says that he is grateful and owes the club some trophies in various events, such as the FA Cup, the UEFA Champions League and Carling Cup.

The news and declarations laid to rest all forms of speculations of Fabregas going to FC Barcelona or Real Madrid.

He made his comments during an interview after the match between Arsenal and FC Barcelona which resulted in a victory for the Gunners.

The Gunners will face Birmingham this Sunday in the Carling Cup Final.

Fabregas and the Gunners have a lot to do since Mc Leish of Birmingham admitted that his team "might get ugly with the Gunners during the Carling Cup Final."

It is a great thing that an athlete shows gratitude for his team and manager at a time when such loyalties are lacking.

I am reading what Cesc Fabregas has said and my respect for him and Arsenal seem to grow with time. It remains to be seen what will transpire.
