NFL Two-a-Days: The 2011 Offseason Preview for the Tennessee Titans

Ryan FryeFeb 17, 2011

This idea originated from ESPN's Mike & Mike. Here is my preview for the Tennessee Titans.

5. What does new head coach Mike Munchak bring to the Titans?

He brings a new voice.

You could easily argue that after 17 seasons Jeff Fisher had grown stale in Nashville. The players no longer wanted to listen to him and it showed on the field. And this is coming from a big Fisher fan.

Players will also respect Munchak since he is a Hall of Fame player.

4. Where will the Titans find their QB for 2011?

Well, I've got some possibilites—Donovan McNabb, Carson Palmer, Kevin Kolb, Chad Henne, Blaine Gabbert or Cam Newton.

This is, of course, depending on if they want a veteran or a rookie. If they want a veteran, McNabb seems likely. As for Gabbert and Newton, I'll get to them in a minute.

3. The Tennessee defensive player offenses fear most is...

Jasin Babin or Cortland Finnegan.

Babin went to the pro bowl and led the team in sacks during the 2010 season, while Finnegan is a small, feisty playmaker at cornerback. I'd probably go with Babin, since he had a better year.

2. What is the Titans' top priority in the draft and/or free agency?

They need help on defense but quarterback is also a big need.

At QB, my choice would be Newton. Gabbert will probably be selected by the time the Titans are on the clock, but even if he's not I would still prefer Newton. Of course, the Titans will pick who they prefer without consulting me.

Prince Amukamara and Marcel Dareus are also possible picks.

1. Stock: Rising or Falling?

How would the stock be rising? Can someone explain that to me?

Falling.

Ryan is 15 and a volunteer scout for the Atlanta Falcons.
